About Me

Robert Bradley
A lifelong sports fan, I live in Phoenix and work for the Phoenix Public Library. My spare time is filled with reading about history, following the local teams (the Suns, Diamondbacks, Cardinals and for now, Coyotes), collecting basketball books, reading old comic books and playing cards. After buying my first Official NBA Guide in 1980, I became interested in professional basketball history and began writing a book in 1992 (it was eventually published in 1999 as The Compendium of Professional Basketball). My basketball research led me to organize the Association for Professional Basketball Research in 1997, and I currently serve as its President Emeritus.
